South Carolina Ride On Clinic, @
Hi. My name is Michael, and I live in Clemson, SC.
Last year, we were fortunate to host a Ride On clinic here in Clemson. I think that we were all very grateful, and definitely learned alot. Since then, we've seen the formation of Clemson Freeride, a Clemson University-sanctioned freeride club more than thirty members strong. The formation of Clemson Freeride was certainly fueled by Shaums' and Mike's visit last year, and the club is currently in talks with Red Bull about a symbiotic partnership of some kind. The club has gotten WELL underway the construction of a DH course in issaqueena forest, where the Ride On clinic was held last year, and is hoping to host its inaugural DH race in the coming season.
As a club member (not administrator), I can say that we would all love it if you guys could make it down our way again this year. It would certainly be much appreciated.
To contact Clemson Freeride, just go to www.clemsonfreeride.com
Thanks alot for your time,
Michael McAleer

World Masters Championships Race Clinics, @
Hi Shaums / Mike:
Congregations on winning the "junior" category Shaums! ha ha. Also thanks for all the tips and advice over the UCI World Master's weekend. It sure paid off for me.
The racing lines you both pointed out really helped me in the race. I thought I looked at all the course and trained on all the lines in the past but I wouldn't have found half those lines on my own. And wow those were fast lines! Thanks again.
I am going to be practicing the riding techniques Shaums showed me over the fall and winter as I can feel that the cornering techniques are better. I couldn't use many of them during the race as it took too much concentration to change styles. However I am already convinced that with practice I will be going faster next year and will be taking another camp in the spring.
Happy Trails,
Bryon "the champ" Enns

Boise Idaho Clinic, @
Shaums and Mike,
This is Greg (the singlespeed rider on day 2 of your Boise course). I
just wanted to thank you both again for the amazing course you put on. I
came to the class a little skeptical towards how much I was actually going
to learn. I soon realized though that I actually had a lot to learn.
You're both incredible coaches and I learned so much. I'm so excited to
get out and ride and try out my newfound cornering skills. You've truly
helped me to become a better rider. I'm going to have to try to come up
to one of your other camps sometime. I thank you again for your help.

Team Squamish Training Day, @
I just wanted to thank you for all the tips and information that you gave us today I think that it will really help us and I plan to use the information that i got in the future. Also thank you for getting Mike out to help us with our corners, he was really great, he took the time to help everyone out with the things that they were not getting and made it easier to understand things. It was really great when Mike took the time to have a look at everyones bike and to make changes that he thought might help, my bike feels much better now then at the beginning of the day. I had lots of fun, and am hoping that i will get another chance like todays to learn new riding skills. Even though it was raining like crazy im sure that everyone had a fun time. So thank you ~ eden
