Dear Shaums and Mark,
Last summer you guys came out to Kelowna and gave a short half-day clinic at Venture Gear. In that two hours you guys changed completely how I ride a bike down a hill. I’m still working on incorporating things you said and worked with us on, and everything you said over that time has improved my comfort and speed descending. Being a poorly reformed roadie I always took the approach of using the uphills to make up for time lost going down. It sure is nice to not get passed on every descent now…
Many thanks,
Paul Shipley

First, thank you for returning to Rays MTB and when are you coming back?
I took a private coaching session from Bob Brien and couldn’t be more pleased. Bob is the total package. He helped me work on bike skills, selecting lines, fine tuning my bike and suggesting exercises body to improve my riding. He showed me how to improve my efficiency, so by the end of the session he had me coasting through difficult sections faster than when I had been struggling to pedal through them. This is my second year taking coaching sessions from Mad March Racing and I can’t wait for an opportunity to do it again.

I wanted to take a minute and follow-up on Joey's and my coaching sessions with you at Ray's. We both had a great time and by the sounds of it you did a nice job converting my husband into a believer in the value of a good lesson. Rumor has it he will be paying for the next lesson.
I am super stoked for the snow to melt (even though I love playing in the snow too) so I can practice my new and improved bike skills.

I have been to several camps in Europe and the US. The instruction I
received in this camp was by far the best. The approach to teaching the
skills is highly effective. Additionally, It was very helpful for you to
provide instruction, observe and dissect my performance making suggestions
which made immediate improvements to my riding ability. In a very short
period of time, I was able to break several bad habits and improve my
riding performance in some key areas.
Ray's, need I say more The location is great! I cannot think of a better
setting to learn and practice a variety of new skills. Ray's accommodates
riders of different levels and abilities in one location.
The best part was the team from MMR! From my first interaction prior to
the clinic with the instructors and organizers, the personal attention and
focus was excellent. The entire team went out of their way to ensure I
and other campers received personalized attention and instruction. The
feeling of camaraderie created among the instructors and participants was
fantastic. They really made everyone feel welcome, comfortable and we all
had a great time together.
I highly recommend mad march racing mountain bike clinics the experience
and people are top notch!
Have a good one,
Greg

The skills and coaching I recieved at the Mad March Training Camps are ones that have led me to win two elite National Downhill Championships, become a 4 time US World Championships team member, 2X NORBA elite Downhill winner, and multipule top 20 World Cup finishes...these are skills and tequniques that I still use on a daily basis.
